We handle all Probate and Estate Administration matters, such as probating a decedent who died with a Last Will and Testament, or probating the estate of an individual who died intestate (without a will). Probate and Estate Administration includes transferring assets through the Will as well as non-probate transfers of the decedent's assets outside the Will, or without a Will. Each state has its own laws which relate to the Probate process. It is important to consult a firm with expertise in this area of the law to insure that the decedent's assets are distributed properly, expeditiously, and with as little tax consequence as possible. Our fees are usually on an hourly basis, but in some instances, a flat fee may be permitted.
